Leap Day . . .

Greetings, I welcome you to this day of Leap Year. I hope you are well. I am having fun.

Today is the Battle of the Blood here in Novi, between Novi and Northville High Schools. I went down to give blood this morning, but I was unable to give today because I am still on an antibiotic. What a bummer. I will be able to give next week some time.

I am into my second month at Busch's and I am still enjoying the experience. The job is fun, the people are nice. I also received my most unusual nick name ever on Wednesday. The Deli guy called me "Big Sexy". What is up with that? I have been called many things, but not "Big Sexy". I also have the nick name "Tim McGraw. I enjoy the opportunity to meet the folks of our community. There are many people who live in Novi. I know I only meet a selection of folks for just a brief moment, but I hope that our crossing of paths is a blessing in my Guests day.

So, what is new in your life today? I am tired, but happy to be alive. It is Friday, and it is snowing like mad. However, the snow came a little late for there to be a snow day. What is it about having a job that gives you a day off when it snows. It is a wonderful thing.

Here we go - Seven facts about my self some random and some weird. you asked for it

1. I am a multifaceted man - Human, Husband, Dad, Friend, Brother, Son, Teacher, Cashier, and the list could go on and on.


2. I love to write letters with great Fountain Pens on wonderful stationary. I love to encourage folks with the written word.


3. I have a third nipple. Yes, you heard that straight. I know it is odd, but it is like my only claim to strangeness.


4. I am going to steal one from my friend SAM - I do not know what I want to be when I grow up. Just exactly when do you actually really grow up. What is it to be grown up??


5. I love to take pictures of family, friends or just everything. I have like 5 different cameras. I hope to be able to take a class some day to learn how to take better photos.


6. I love balloons. They are great. I like the fact that most people are happy to get a balloon. My favorite balloons are big round latex helium balloons. What is it when you have a person who is afraid of balloons running the helium tank not filling it up full because it may pop, I just do not understand that. I told my wife that when I die, I want people to send balloons to my funeral party. OK - a little morbid I will admit, but it is in my future some time, hopefully not soon.


7. I love people and it bubbles out of my soul.

I thought . . .

I thought I would have blogged more this week. I have been off the entire week from school. But you know what. I have not blogged till today. Thursday. What is up with that. It is not like I have been doing a lot. I have just been kinda tired. Ya, tired that is it. I have also not been feeling the best. I have a cold of some soart. O well.

It happened to me today. I did not think I would do it, but I did. I showed up to work at Busch's only one and a half hour early to work. I can not believe I did that. So here I am at home, blogging. It was funny. I thought I was working from 4 - 12 today, but I am only working from 5:30 - 11. Well that happens to the best of us.

What is new in your life?? I am going to be working the entire weekend. That is not too bad. I like my job so far at Busch's. God is Good. Last week before the end of school, we were able to work on Mona Lisa. We changed the oil, and greased the front end. We also roatated the tires. This week I also added some transmission fluid. She is running good. The heat also works at times which is a blessing on cold days.

Hi, I hope you understand that you are Beautiful. Have you ever seen this comercial? I just ran across it the other day. It was amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYhCn0jf46U I feel so bad for real girls. It is not right what the world has thrown at them. You are beautiful. I think many girls live their entire life hoping to be found beautiful, reading the teen mags and seeing all the television and all the ads. It is False. It is not real. I know this is a little overboard for a guy. But my heart aches for girls. What does my own daughter think about her beauty. What do guys think beauty is or is not. Are they looking at fixed photos of unreal images hoping that some woman out there will meet these false expectations. NO . . . Tomorrow is Valentines Day . . .

Yes, the day of love is tomorrow. I do not know what to get or give my wife. I have given her flowers, cards and all the fancy stuff a husband would give his wife along the way. Also to top it off, I have to work the entire day tomorrow. School from 7 - 2 pm and then Busch's from 4 - 12 midnight. I will be one tired puppy. But I do have friday off from both jobs. So that will be nice. A day of rest. So, what should I get my wife?? Any thoughts? I love her. I should just continue to love her the way taht I do. I asked her yesterday what she would like to have, and she said nothing. I told her that that ment I would have to decide what to get her. Well, it will be all good. Have a wonderful day. Peace

Great Scott . . .

I am tired today. I am cold, and hungry also. But I am alive, and happily so. It has been a busy past few weeks. I have been working several hours at Busch's. I have been sleeping well, and not staying up too late into the evening. I really do enjoy my part time job as a cashier. I have to tell you it is 9 am right now, and I can not wait until I can go to bed at 11:30 pm today. Now that is not too long to wait. I am happy to be able to work. This blog is boring, so I will go and eat some oatmeal. I will blog again soon. Peace.
