Days about done . . .

My days as a Busch's employee are coming to an end. I have been there for 15 months. I am amazed at all the things I have learned and all the wonderful people I have meet over these past months. Bottom line, I am tired. My body hurts at the end of each shift, and it is just time to move on. No ill will, and leaving in good terms with a great company. A Michigan Company to boot. This is but a short blog, but I await the wonderful adventure that will begin in the absence of Busch's. Peace

A blog a day . . .

Well, now that is not the truth is it? It would be more like a blog every now and then. What is it exactly about pouring stuff out of ones head onto a page that is so, well, so refreshing at times. Then to know that someone would take the time to read what dumped out is also very interesting. What is on my head today??? I am a little under the weather today. It is cold and rainy today. I am looking forward to a little nap in just a few moments. What is it about naps on rainy days? Just to lay your head down on your pillow and pull the covers up tight around your neck - getting sleepy while I type . . . there is something in the day, the rain, the absence of the sun, I do not know exactly that beckons me to lay my head down. That is just about enough of the nap thing.

It was a blessing to be off from work last week. We were able to travel down to Virginia. Friends and food were on the agenda. We also spent time with family from Florida. My best friend Ron lives in Virginia. He is married and has three wonderful children.

I spent some wonderful hours with him just talking and conversing about life and Godliness. We attended College together. I do not think I have been as open with any other human besides my wife as I have been with Ron. I love this man. He is like a brother to me. What a wonderful week.

My wife has several friends there as well, and she spent time with them. Like I said we were able to spend time with family. Here is my son, wife and sister in law.
The joy that family and times shared together can bring . . . It is refreshing and energizing.
All in all it was a blessing to be in Virginia. Now I want to focus on cutting some of this weight. I know, it is always on my mind, why don't I just get with it and change? Good question. I did join the Gym last week, they were having a great introductory special. Now it is time to get up and move. Well it is time to bounce. I love you all. Peace
